On its Tropical Wetlands reserve in north Queensland, Forever Wild is working with the Muluridji Indigenous people to develop activities that connect disadvantaged youth and other community members to the reserve landscape. These activities will fit into the well-being program area for our landscapes. We are also engaging on a ideas ranging from local artists to bringing elders out to country to sit, as they did for thousands of years, and rebuild their connections to landscape.
We are also exploring a wide range of ideas with the Mulungu Aboriginal Health centre in the local town of Mareeba, north Queensland, again focused on well-being.
